Backbox - Choose either Flush mount or Surface mount
The D21* range of DoorBird door stations require a separately purchased backbox in order to be properly installed, and to ensure the IP65 Waterproof rating. Either Flush mount or Surface mount can be chosen.
Choose a backbox from the 2 options below for every D2102V Door Station.
Power Supply - 15V plugpack or POE (Power over Ethernet)
The D21* range of DoorBird door stations do not include a power supply, as there are multiple options. Use the 15V plugpack below if you have a fig-8 cable separate to ethernet to use for power, or choose the POE injector if you wish to power over the ethernet cable. If you have a POE data switch to power your DoorBird devices, you do not have to choose a power supply here.

Installation of this product is bordering on the professional level. If you are experienced and in the trade, you will have no problems. This device will be the toughest end of the DIY spectrum, and in most cases will be installed by a professional.
This setup and configuration will require some technical knowledge and understanding of your network and parameters for this device type. There will be some decisions and information required in completing this configuration, and you should be comfortable if you are reasonably tech-savvy.
